Works with existing weight distribution setups where the head of the weight distribution hitch mounts to a 2" square bar (Equalizer, Blue Ox, Reese for example). Simply pin your weight distribution head to our bracket, and you are ready to start towing.
Description
NOTE: when using a weight distribution bracket, tongue weight and gross trailer weight ratings for the hitch are derated 25%
Mounting hardware for the bracket to the AirSafe hitch is provided. Hardware for connecting the weight distribution bracket to your current setup is NOT provided.
For heavier loads (15,000+ lb.), we recommend using a solid weight distribution bracket to reduce the chance of cavitation over the years.
